Armstrong is committed to providing environmentally preferable products the green buildings. Even as early as 1860, Armstrong
has pioneered “green” practices, products and services, first in North America and subsequently worldwide. Our quality and
process-driven culture are seeds by which we continue to innovate environmentally-responsible practices. As evidence of this
commitment, in 1909, Armstrong took the lead to make the Linoleum floors, eagerly anticipates the environmental protection
new concept. In 1999, we introduced the first and only commercial ceilings recycling program in the industry, providing us
with 9 years of experience to date. We have recycled more than 40,000,000square feet of old acoustical ceiling tiles – representing
more than 14,000 tons of construction waste that would have normally been dumped into landfills.
